Compensation and Benefits

Employees are our most valuable assets. Profit sharing is our core idea for compensation and benefits program. Motech offers pleasant working environment to attract and award hard-working and high potential employees.

Employee Welfare
  • Motech and its subsidiaries provide incentive programs based on operational profitability, such as performance bonuses and employee rewards.
  • Motech has established an "Employee Welfare Committee" to continuously promote a wide range of welfare measures and organize various activities, such as Family Day, holiday celebrations, and year-end parties. The company also provides emergency relief and subsidies for employees' weddings, funerals, and other special occasions, aiming to foster a supportive and caring environment that enhances employees' sense of belonging to the company.
  • Motech and its subsidiaries have employee cafeterias that provide meals and rest areas for staff.
Training and Development
Motech places strong emphasis on talent development, actively enhancing the professional capabilities of its employees and fostering a systematic learning environment. Through a comprehensive training framework, the company encourages employees to pursue self-directed learning while cultivating a corporate culture in which supervisors actively support and mentor their teams. This ensures the parallel advancement of both company operations and individual growth. Talent development is promoted through various channels, including internal and external training, an E-learning platform, the Motech Library, and professional certification programs.
Retirement System and Implementation
  • The Company and its subsidiaries comply with relevant local retirement laws and regulations to safeguard employees’ retirement rights. In Taiwan, in accordance with the Labor Standards Act, the Company makes full contributions to a designated pension reserve account at the Bank of Taiwan. A Labor Pension Fund Supervisory Committee has also been established to convene quarterly meetings to oversee related pension matters.
  • In accordance with the Labor Pension Act, starting from July 1, 2005, the Company contributes 6% of each eligible employee’s monthly salary to their individual pension account maintained by the Bureau of Labor Insurance. Employees may also voluntarily contribute up to an additional 6% of their salary to the same account to enjoy tax benefits.
    When employees become eligible for retirement, they may withdraw funds directly from their personal pension account, thereby ensuring their right to future pension benefits.

Creating a friendly workplace
Motech values open, two-way communication with its employees, who are not only key partners in the company’s sustainable operations but also vital to sustaining production and driving innovation. In addition to holding regular quarterly labor-management meetings, Motech has established multiple communication channels to encourage dialogue based on harmony and mutual trust.
Through effective communication, the company aims to promptly understand employees’ needs and concerns, make timely adjustments to management policies, and build a win–win, employee-friendly workplace.
Employee Code of Conduct and Ethics
  • In line with its core values of integrity and honesty, Motech and its subsidiaries have formulated the Motech Code of Ethics, which is disclosed on the company’s official website and in the Corporate Governance section of the Public Information Observatory.
  • To embody these core values, Motech has not only formulated the Code of Ethics, but also adopted the Integrity Management Code and the Operating Procedures and Guidelines for Ethical Conduct, in reference to the "Ethical Corporate Management Best Practice Principles for TWSE/TPEx Listed Companies." These documents are disclosed through the company’s website, annual reports, internal policies, and other official publications.
    Motech is committed to preventing unethical conduct and has clearly defined the ethical standards that all employees must follow in the course of business operations.
